The E-board is excited to meet everybody! Click on our profile pictures to get to know us better.

President: Tom Banas
Get to Know Me: Hi everyone! I’m from Grand Island, NY. A fun fact about me is that I absolutely love golfing! When I’m not on the golf course, you can catch me playing tennis, running, skiing, hitting the gym, or reading a good book!
My Beta Alpha Psi Journey: My time with Beta started in the fall of my Sophomore year! There were many reasons that I decided to join, but none other than the sense of community I felt within Beta. Since joining, I have been a member of the Best Practices Impacting Your Community team. While on the team, I have competed in two mid-year and annual conferences across the country! During my junior year I served as the Events and Networking Committee Chair where I was responsible for the organization of events such as the David Kim’s Workshop. BAP has been critical for my professional and personal growth. Not only have my soft skills improved, but I’ve also become more at ease in professional settings! While I have made hundreds of Beta memories, one sticks out. Witnessing my team receive first place at my first midyear meeting in Indianapolis in March of 2024 and the late night Taco Bell following the victory, is a memory I will never forget.
What I Look Forward To: I can’t wait to work with and build connections with all of our members and upcoming candidates! Providing new, unconventional, opportunities for students to grow and succeed is what I am most looking forward to!
I can promise you will get something out of Beta when you join! Our e-board is fully committed to ensuring that each and everyone of you achieve your academic and professional goals for this academic year!

Vice President of Technicals: Sherry Zhou
Get to Know Me: Hi everyone! My name is Sherry and I’m from Buffalo, New York. I’m a senior in the accounting program. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy photography, and recently I’ve been getting into film photography and love experimenting with different lighting and scenery. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and grabbing boba with friends. Whether it’s getting lost in a good book, discovering new songs, or catching up over my favorite drink, I really value those little moments that help me relax and recharge.
My Beta Alpha Psi Journey: I joined Beta Alpha Psi in Fall 2023 and became actively involved in Spring 2024 as the Disclosure Chair. Since then, BAP has helped me grow both professionally and personally through leadership experience, collaboration, and networking. One highlight was presenting at the Midyear Meeting in Atlanta for the Best Practices competition in the “Impacting Inclusiveness” category. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me the value of storytelling and teamwork. My favorite memories are the socials we have throughout the semester. They are a great way to relax, build friendships, and connect with other members outside of a professional setting.
What I Look Forward To: I’m most looking forward to planning impactful technical events that help students grow both professionally and personally. I’m also excited to work with the board to support our members and create a strong, welcoming community.

Vice President of Candidates: Jillian Sujka
Get to Know Me: Hello, I’m Jillian, and I grew up in Buffalo, NY. A fun fact about me is that my modeling career both started and ended when I was featured on the box of a Fisher-Price toy as a kid. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors—whether it’s taking walks or relaxing with a good book in the sun.
My Beta Alpha Psi Journey: I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi in the spring of my sophomore year after switching my major to accounting, wanting to get more involved in the School of Management and connect with motivated peers. BAP has helped me grow professionally and personally—I’ve improved my public speaking, expanded my network, and built meaningful friendships. A highlight was participating in the Best Practices competition, where my group presented on “Impacting Connections in Your Chapter.” My favorite memory is attending the Midyear conference in Atlanta, where traveling and exploring the city with other members helped me bond and feel even more connected to our chapter.
What I Look Forward To: I am most looking forward to getting to know our incoming candidates and having the opportunity to guide them through their journey in Beta Alpha Psi. I’m excited to help them feel welcomed and supported, answer their questions, and ensure they feel confident and connected throughout the process. Watching them grow and become active members will be incredibly rewarding.
Treasurer: Andy McLellan
Get to Know Me: Hi everyone! I’m from Long Island, and a fun fact about me is my birthday is New Years Eve. In my free time, I enjoy golfing and running. I also like to watch hockey and football (go giants).
My Beta Alpha Psi Journey: I joined Beta Alpha Psi in Fall of 2024 after going to the first GBM. I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I joined, but I could tell from that first meeting that this was a welcoming group of people who help each other pursue their goals. As I attended more events, I felt more confident leaving my comfort zone and was able to accomplish things I previously hadn’t envisioned for myself. I attended the Midyear conference for Best Practices where my team presented for the ‘Impacting your Profession’ topic. It was a stressful experience, but it taught me a lot about time management and collaboration. My favorite memory is the last GBM of this past spring semester. It was a great way to decompress before finals, and I had a lot of fun with the people I’d grown so close with over the past year.
I Look Forward To: As treasurer, I am most looking forward to working with the rest of the E-board to plan events while managing the budget.

Reporting Secretary: David Liu
Get to Know Me: I’m from Long Island, NY, but I originally moved here from China when I was in fourth grade. I enjoy all genres of music and hope to learn to play different instruments whenever I get the chance.
My Beta Alpha Psi Journey: I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi because I wanted to be more involved in our accounting program and meet more friends within it. I felt that BAP was a more closely knit group, which made me feel welcome and motivated me to get even more involved after joining. I attended nearly all the events and took advantage of as many opportunities as I could. Eventually, I attended Mid-year presenting our chapter operations and later chosen as the Events and Networking Chair. These roles pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me grow both personally and professionally.
I Look Forward To: I’m most looking forward to helping our club achieve Gold status again, as we’ve proudly done year after year.
Corresponding Secretary: Hao Lin Li
Get to Know Me: I am from NYC. A fun fact about myself is I love to build computers and have built 5 in the past year.
My Beta Alpha Psi Journey: I wanted to join BAP because I wanted to have the opportunity to be able to meet new people as well as grow as a person. I joined fall of 2024 in my junior year and got more involved in spring as a community outreach chair Joining BAP has helped me grow tremendously as a professional specifically with the technical where you are able to learn more about the different companies and get the opportunity to speak to the professional afterwards to learn more about them and the company itself. Taking on new leadership positions has helped me grow personally as well taking on more responsibilities that are bigger than just myself.
I Look Forward To: What I am most looking forward to in my E-board role is getting to meet new members and helping those who are just starting their BAP experiences.

Communications Secretary: Lina Li
Get To Know Me: Hi guys! My name is Lina, and I’m from Queens, New York. A fun fact about myself is that I have a pet turtle that my brother named Big Back because of its large shell. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV shows. One of my favorites at the moment is “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” be prepared with a box of tissues next to you!
My Beta Alpha Psi Journey: I first joined BAP at the start of junior year as a way to not only step outside of my comfort zone, but also to find a sense of community while navigating my transition from a marketing major to an accounting major. Since joining, I’ve had the opportunity to challenge myself in ways that I never imagined doing so through networking events and volunteer work. These experiences have given me valuable insight about the profession and helped me brush up on some soft skills. But even more than that, it was the lifelong memories and friends I’ve made along that way that makes BAP so meaningful to me. I’m always looking forward to the social events. One of my favorite memories is the pumpkin painting Halloween social, where I got to spend some fun, quality time with the other members.
I Look Forward To: I’m excited to share engaging posts on our social media accounts to ensure members stay informed and connected. I also hope to challenge myself while sharing BAP’s values and to foster an uplifting, safe environment for new students.
