Executive Board

The Executive Board is excited to serve Beta Alpha Psi’s Zeta Theta chapter for the 2017-2018 session! Check out their profiles below.

Vice President of Technicals

Lauren is a senior accounting major at UB and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since the fall of 2016. She participated in the Best Practices Competition at the regional meeting this past year in Pittsburgh, and was also able to attend the annual meeting in Anaheim, CA. During this past year, Lauren has interned at Chiampou, Travis, Besaw, and Kershner, as well as in the internal audit department at National Fuel. She has accepted an internship with Deloitte for the summer of 2018 and also serves as a tutor in the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center. Lauren is very excited to serve on this year’s Executive Board and help students make connections with a variety of different firms, as well as with their fellow classmates.

Chapter President

Tom is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since joining in the fall of 2016.  He has participated in two Best Practices Competitions for our chapter at the Regional Meetings and attended the Annual Meeting this past summer in Anaheim, California.  Additionally, he was able to attend KPMG’s Global Advantage and Discover leadership programs.  His experiences as a Career Ambassador in the Career Resource Center as well as a Peer Tutor in the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center make him a great resource for all students.  Tom is very excited to serve as Chapter President and is looking forward to an incredible year!

Vice President of Candidates

Luuly is a senior in the accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since Fall 2016. This past summer, she served as a research assistant in the School of Management and she is also a member of the School of Management Honors Program. She attended both the Beta Alpha Psi Regional and Annual Meeting in 2017. Luuly is looking forward to serving as Vice President of Candidates as well as VITA Committee Chair for the Zeta Theta Chapter this year.

Treasurer

Aaron is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since joining in the fall of 2016. This past summer, he attended PwC’s Elevate Program and will be joining the firm as an Assurance Intern in Buffalo next summer. He recently completed an Accounting Internship at US Energy Development Corporation. As a member of the University Honors College and School of Management Honors Program, Aaron’s many experiences make him a great resource for candidates. He participated in the Best Practices Competition at the BAP Regional Meeting in Pittsburgh and attended the Annual Meeting in Anaheim with his fellow executive board officers. He is looking forward to continuing his active involvement in the Zeta Theta chapter by serving as Treasurer.

Communications Secretary

Gyunbeom (Tom) is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since fall of 2015. He has participated in he Best Practices Competition at the Regional Meeting in 2017 and attended the Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA. As a VITA Committee Chair for the 2016-2017 school year, he has assisted in training members for the VITA Program and will do so again this year. Gyunbeom is very excited to serve on this year’s executive board as Communications Secretary to help students feel welcome in Beta Alpha Psi.

Corresponding Secretary

Leah is a senior accounting major and member of Beta Alpha Psi since the fall 2016 semester. Recently, she attended EY’s Emerging Leaders Program and will be joining the firm as an Assurance Intern in Buffalo next summer. Leah has been a very active member of the Zeta Theta Chapter, competing in the Best Practices Competition at the 2017 Regional Meeting in Pittsburgh and in Project Run With It at the 2017 Annual Meeting in Anaheim. She is extremely excited to serve as your Corresponding Secretary and looks forward to an amazing year!

Reporting Secretary

Joe is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since joining in the fall of 2016. He participated in last year’s Best Practices Competition for our chapter at the Regional Meeting and attended the Annual Meeting this past summer in Anaheim, California. Additionally, he has experience working in internal audit at Xerox Corp. He is also a member of the executive board for the School of Management’s Giving Council and a peer tutor in the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center. Joe is very excited to serve as Reporting Secretary and is looking forward to a great year!
