The Executive Board is excited to serve Beta Alpha Psi’s Zeta Theta chapter for the 2019-2020 session!

Vice President of Technicals

Carol is a senior in the accounting program and has been an active member of Beta since the Fall of 2018. She has competed in the Best Practices Competition at the 2019 Regional Meeting in Virginia as well as attended the Annual Meeting this past summer in Chicago. Following graduation, she has accepted an Internship offer with KPMG. Carol looks forward to serving as Vice President of Technicals and hopes that it offers other students the opportunity to network and further their professional careers as it did for her.

Chapter President

Bailey is a senior accounting major, and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since Spring 2018. She has participated in the Best Practices Competition for our chapter at the 2018  Regional Meeting in Crystal City, VA, and presented in Chapter Operations at the 2019 Annual Meeting. Currently, Bailey serves as a tutor in the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center. She has also accepted an internship offer with Ernst and Young for the upcoming summer. Bailey is very excited to serve as Chapter President and is looking forward to an incredible year!

Vice President of Candidates

Quynh is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since the spring of 2018. She participated in the PwC Case Competition placing 2nd with her team, Best Practices Competition at the 2019 Regional Meeting, and attended the Annual Meeting in Chicago, I.L. She was involved in the VITA program as a VITA Chair in the prior tax season and will return to continue her involvement in the upcoming season. Quynh is very excited to serve as this year’s Vice President of Candidates. She looks forward to getting to know and helping members and candidates of the chapter.

Treasurer

Ashley is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since 2018. She served as a quality reviewer in the VITA program last year, and will return as a chair for this upcoming tax season. Ashley interned as an Internal Audit intern at a surgical manufacturing company, ConMed, this past summer helping to implement a new automated audit software into the company. She has participated in the PwC case competition last year taking 2nd place with her team, as well as the Undergraduate Case Competition hosted by UB in which she placed 1st with her team. She looks forward to serving as your treasurer and working with all of the members and candidate this upcoming year!

Communications Secretary

Inness is a senior in the accounting major and has been a committed member of Beta Alpha Psi since the fall of 2017. He has participated in the Best Practices Competition at the 2019 Regional Meeting and has also attended the Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. This past summer, he attended EY’s Emerging Leaders Program and will be joining the Ernst and Young as a Tax Intern in New York next summer. He has strong ambitions in tax and he is proud to contribute in VITA program as a VITA committee chair in the upcoming year. Inness is extremely excited to serve on this year’s Executive Board as the Communications Secretary as well as the VITA Committee Chair for the Zeta Theta Chapter.

Corresponding Secretary

Beth is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since the fall of 2017. She participated in the Best Practices Competition at the regional meeting this past year placing 2nd with her team and also attended the annual meeting. During the past year, Beth has been a tax intern at The Bonadio Group and a forensic and compliance intern at Johnson & Johnson. She is currently a remote Data Analytics Intern for Johnson and Johnson and she has accepted an internship with KPMG for the Summer of 2019. She is also a peer tutor for the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center and is a member of the School of Management Honors Program. She is excited to serve as your corresponding secretary and looking forward to a great year!

Reporting Secretary

Milad is a senior accounting major with a political science minor and has been an active Beta Alpha Psi member since the Fall of 2018. He has participated in the Best Practices Competition for our chapter at the 2019 Regional Meeting in Washington, D.C, and attended the Annual Meeting this past summer in Chicago. Additionally, Milad interned at Delaware North in Buffalo, NY this past summer, working as a Financial Reporting Intern in their Global Business Services. He will continue this internship throughout his senior year, in hopes of accepting a full-time position after completing his Masters in Accounting at the University at Buffalo. He is also part of the School of Management’s Honors Program and has been actively involved with Student Engagement since his freshman year. Milad is very excited to serve as your Reporting Secretary and cannot wait for an amazing year!
