Vice President of Technicals

Melanie is a senior in the accounting program and has been an active member of Beta since the Fall of 2019. She has competed in the Best Practices Competition at the Virtual 2020 Regional Meeting and presented in the category of innovation. Currently, Melanie is the TA for Career Connection II, hope to see some of you in class! Following graduation, she has accepted an Internship offer in the tax practice with Andersen. Melanie looks forward to serving as Vice President of Technicals and hopes that it offers other students the opportunity to network develop professionally as it did for her.

Chapter President

Hi everybody, my name is Eric Lin! I was born and raised in New York City. I am Chinese-American, and my favorite past-times include working out, eating food, traveling, and watching movies. I interned this past semester with the Risk Review Group at KeyBank and I will be interning with KPMG next summer! Please reach out to me if you have any questions, and I look forward to being your President this upcoming semester!

Vice President of Candidates

Jason is a senior accounting major and has been an active member of Beta Alpha Psi since the Fall of 2019. He participated in the PwC Case Competition , Best Practices Competition at the 2020 Regional Meeting, and attended the Annual Meeting. He will be joining EY as an Assurance Intern in Summer 2020. Jason is very excited to serve as this year’s Vice President of Candidates. He looks forward to getting to know and helping members and candidates of the chapter!

Treasurer

Scott is a graduate student at the University at Buffalo. This will be his third year as a member of Beta. Last year, he was the Student Outreach Committee chair where he presented what accounting is and what it looks like to high school students in the Buffalo area. He looks forward to being the treasurer of Beta Alpha Psi this year!

Communications Secretary

Rohit is currently a senior in the accounting program. Rohit am an international student and came to UB in the fall of 2018 as a freshman. Rohit joined Beta Alpha Psi in the fall of 2019 and have participated in both the 2020 Regional Meeting and the 2020 Annual Meeting for Beta Alpha Psi. Furthermore, Rohit also placed 1st at the PwC Case Competition Challenge that was held at UB. Rohit looks forward to serving as the chapter communications secretary for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Corresponding Secretary

Andy is a senior Accounting major with a minor in African American Studies. He has been an active member since Spring 2020. He has participated in the Best Practices Competition for our chapter at the 2020 Regional Meeting held virtually on Zoom. His hobbies include riding bikes and fixing things in general. He has accepted an internship offer with KPMG for the upcoming summer. Andy is really excited to serve as the corresponding secretary. Feel free to say hello!

Reporting Secretary

Daniel is a senior in the accounting program and has been an active member of Beta since the Fall of 2019. Following graduation, he has accepted a Tax Internship offer with PwC. Daniel is extremely excited to serve on this year’s Executive Board as the Reporting Secretary for the Zeta Theta Chapter. He looks forward to working with all of the members and candidates this year.
