Professor Lorrie Metzger, CPA, CISA, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University at Buffalo School of Management. She earned her MBA in Supply Chain from the University at Buffalo and her BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology. Before joining UB, she gained more than 10 years of professional experience in public accounting and internal audit, holding positions at First Niagara Financial Group, M&T Bank, Deloitte, and Arthur Andersen.
Professor Metzger brings her extensive industry experience into the classroom, teaching courses including Accounting Information Systems, Introduction to Management Accounting, and Information Technology Auditing. She also served as Faculty Director of the School of Management Undergraduate Honors Program and is committed to helping students develop the technical and analytical skills needed for successful careers in accounting.
