Professor Hu is the faculty advisor of our Zeta Theta Chapter. Prior to joining the faculty at UB, she was an audit senior manager at KPMG, where she served clients in a variety of industries and was involved in designing, developing, and instructing several national training courses. As an alum of UB and of Beta Alpha Psi, Professor Hu really enjoys advising the Chapter and using her experiences to further the professional development of its members and candidates.

Professor Hu specializes in auditing and teaches the Audit course for senior accounting majors. Professor Hu also instructs Introduction to Financial Accounting. She had also instructed the accounting recitation sections for UB’s freshman seminar, Corporate, and Individual Social Responsibility.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities and serving as Beta Alpha Psi’s faculty advisor, she serves as director of the UB School of Management’s Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program, and is a member of the MBA/MS Committee and the Faculty Committee for Diversity and Inclusion.
