Community Outreach Chair:
William Dong

Hey! I’m Will and I’m from Buffalo, NY. I am currently a junior studying accounting, and a fun fact is that I ran a half marathon before.
I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi because the organization will reinforce the skills I need to stand out in my field and to be able to meet like-minded peers who share the same goals and values as me.
I hope to gain valuable experience from my position as a community outreach chair. Practicing communicating between our executive board and potential community organizations to set up events will be an important exercise for me to be successful in my career.
Curtis Hannon

Hi all! My name is Cutis Hannon, and I’m from Jamestown NY. I’m currently entering my junior year at UB, majoring in accounting with minors in Spanish and vocal performance. Outside of academics, I enjoy listening to Latin Ballads and spending time on the golf course.
I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi to immerse myself in the accounting major and gain insight into future career opportunities. I am also eager to build strong connections with fellow accounting students and create a close-knit community within the School of Management.
As a committee chair, my goal is to help improve the efficiency of our organization and ensure both pre-candidates and members feel welcome and supported. I’m especially focused on making volunteering opportunities more accessible and rewarding. I’m excited to see how this role will grow and shape my experience moving forward!

A fun fact about me is I’ve been ice skating since the age of three and have competed—and won—at both regional and national levels multiple times.

Additionally, this is a way to build critical thinking, public speaking skills, and take on a role in leadership. Furthermore, I am looking forward to attending technicals to connect with future employers and various companies.
As fundraising chair, I hope to strengthen my leadership and planning skills by organizing creative and effective fundraising events. This role will allow me to gain hands-on experience in group collaboration and event coordination. Most importantly, I aim to grow as a leader who can motivate others and contribute meaningfully to the success of our organization.
Evan Mauter

Hello everybody! I’m Evan Mauter, one of the newest Fundraising Committee Chair members for Beta Alpha Psi – Zeta Theta Chapter. As of Fall 2025, I will be a Senior in the UB Accounting Program. My Goal as a Fundraising Chair member is to ensure our organization raises sufficient funding to continue offering all the amazing opportunities it provides to Jacobs School of Management students at UB. Fun fact I recently climbed Mount Marathon in Seward, Alaska. Ask me about it at our next GBM!
I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi to give back to the people who were helping me. The Fall 2024 semester was when I made most of the friendships I have in the Accounting Program today. That semester was the hardest on me yet. However, whether it was figuring out how to manage the workload or needing someone to study with, they were there for me. Coincidentally, a majority of them were already members of Beta Alpha Psi or candidates. So, when the next semester rolled around, I jumped at the opportunity to join, eager to contribute to the organization that had given students in my same year the skills to help me through it.
I want to make fundraising easy and fun objective for the club members to accomplish. Fundraising can sometimes come off as a tiresome task, but I believe if we work hard enough, it can become something people look forward to, not only to help Beta Alpha Psi but also a great collaborative activity to bring members together. The importance of funding is clear for any organization, but I know that Beta Alpha Psi deserves more members based on the experience and opportunities it grants members. I want to make sure it can keep providing those things until everyone can see that as well.

Angela Lin

Hi, my name is Angela Lin, and I’m from New York City, NY. I’m currently a senior majoring in Accounting. A fun fact about me is that I majored in Visual Art in high school, and I still draw once in a while.
I joined Beta Alpha Psi because of its welcoming community. When I was exploring clubs during my junior year, I got to know the E-board from the previous year. They made me feel so welcomed and guided me through many aspects of accounting. You really feel included in all the events, from our general body meetings to our social gatherings. I’ve made a lot of friends and gained valuable experiences.
What I hope to gain from my position as a committee chair is the opportunity to grow professionally and to serve as a resource for students who are interested in accounting and the professional world. College can be intimidating for many, and through my role, I hope to help students feel seen, supported, and welcomed.
Benjamin Finch

Hi, my name is Benjamin Finch and, I’m from Red Hook, NY. I am a senior majoring in Finance, attending UB’s 4+1 program. A fun fact about me is I love playing pickle ball.
I joined Beta Alpha Psi, to connect with more people after switch majors in my sophomore year. My roommate was already a member and it seemed like a natural step to connect and grow. Long story short, it was the best decision I’ve ever made in my college career. Making new friends, going to new places and learning more than what’s included in a classroom setting.
I hope to make new connections within Beta, and help new members feel welcome. And give them guidance along the way. PS. BETA IS AWESOME you should totally join!!
