Community Service Chairs:
Claire Maurer

Get to Know Me: Hey, I’m Claire! I’m from Corning NY and a Junior in the Accounting program. A fun fact about me is that during the summer I work as a Goat Yoga Assistant!
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi to become more connected within the School of Management and to surround myself with motivated, like-minded students. As a transfer student, I was looking for an organization that would help me build strong academic and professional relationships while also supporting my growth through networking, leadership, and service opportunities. Beta Alpha Psi stood out to me as a community that values professionalism, collaboration, and giving back.
What I look Forward To: As Community Outreach Committee Chair, I hope to create meaningful service opportunities that strengthen Beta Alpha Psi’s connection to the local community while also helping members grow personally and professionally. I have been very active in my hometown community and have always loved volunteering, so I am excited to bring that passion and experience into Beta Alpha Psi. This role would allow me to connect with other students in the School of Management, lead impactful initiatives, and help foster a culture of service within the organization.
Curtis Hannon
Get to Know Me: Hi all! My name is Cutis Hannon, and I’m from Jamestown NY. I’m currently in my junior year at UB, majoring in accounting. One fun fact about myself is I like Jazz.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi to immerse myself in the accounting major and gain insight into future career opportunities. I am also eager to build strong connections with fellow accounting students and create a close-knit community within the School of Management.
What I look Forward To: As a Committee Chair, I hope to gain more leadership experience, but also to take a deep dive with what Beta Alpha Psi has to offer. Ultimately, I want to make it easier for others to get community service hours and make strong ties with the city of Buffalo.

Fundraising Chairs:
Juliette Schawartz

Get to Know Me: Hi, I am Juliette Schwartz. I am from Westchester, New York, and a junior pursuing a double degree in finance, international business, entrepreneurship, and economics with a minor in Spanish. A fun fact about me is I’ve been ice skating since the age of three and have competed—and won—at both regional and national levels multiple times.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi to further develop the professional skills that will help me succeed in my field while surrounding myself with motivated peers who share similar ambitions and values. The organization provides an opportunity to build meaningful connections, improve my critical thinking and public speaking abilities, and grow as a leader.
What I look Forward To: As fundraising chair, I hope to develop my leadership, planning, and organizational skills by creating engaging and effective fundraising initiatives. My goal is to transform fundraising from a task members feel obligated to complete into an enjoyable, collaborative experience that brings the organization closer together. I believe that with creativity and teamwork, fundraising can become something members genuinely look forward to. Securing strong funding is essential for any organization, and I want to help ensure that Beta Alpha Psi can continue offering valuable opportunities and experiences to its members while showcasing its impact to an even wider audience.
Jack Adams
Get to Know Me: Hello! My name is Jack Adams, and I am from Long Island, New York. I am a Junior majoring in Accounting. A fun fact about myself is that I have been running track and cross country since I was a kid. I was able to participate in the County Championships multiple times and even attend State Championships.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi to deepen my understanding of accounting and better prepare for the future. Being able to meet individuals who share the same interests allows me to meet this goal and grow as a student. Additionally, as a transfer student with limited extracurricular experience when I came to UB, I found Beta Alpha Psi to be the best fit, and it has met those expectations to this day.
What I look Forward To: As the Fundraising Committee chair, I hope to strengthen my communication skills while planning creative and engaging fundraising events. I hope this allows for a meaningful impact on raising funds for this organization and its future success. I look forward to continuing my growth in this role while cultivating an environment where members can gain valuable experience and actively engage with their ideas!

Alexander Pham

Get to Know Me: Hi! My name is Alexander Pham, and I am from Lancaster, NY. I’m currently a junior majoring in accounting. A fun fact about me is that I love to play golf in my free time.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I decided to join Beta Alpha Psi because it offered a welcoming environment where I was able to meet so many amazing and supportive individuals. From the start, Beta Alpha Psi felt like a family, and I made many friends along the way who have supported and mentored me in many ways. In addition to a strong sense of community, BAP has given me the opportunity to be involved in an organization that offers countless opportunities for professional development, networking, and personal growth.
What I look Forward To: As Events & Networking committee chair, I hope to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all members feel supported and encouraged to get involved. I hope to develop my leadership skills and professional development by planning meaningful and experiential events and activities that will prepare our members for future academic and professional success.
Kimberly Delcamp
Get to Know Me: Hi! I’m Kimberly and I am a junior accounting major from Westfield, NY. A fun fact about me is that I have been dancing since I was little and it’s something I still really enjoy.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I joined Beta Alpha Psi with the goal of surrounding myself with motivated and driven students who support one another. From the first event I attended, ‘Meet the Chapter,’ everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind, which made it easy to feel comfortable and included. Along the way, I’ve made great friends and found mentors who have helped guide me both academically and professionally. In addition to building friendships, I was looking for opportunities to grow professionally and be part of an environment that encourages personal and academic growth. Beta Alpha Psi has given me a strong foundation to build lasting relationships while preparing me for success in the accounting field.
What I look Forward To: Through my Events & Networking committee chair position, I hope to become more actively involved in Beta, collaborate closely with fellow members, and meaningfully give back to an organization that has already have a significant positive impact on me in just one semester! I am excited for the opportunity to contribute my enthusiasm and ideas to help plan engaging events that connect our members with professionals.

Get to Know Me: Hi, my name is Isabella Tan, and I’m from Buffalo, New York. I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Accounting. A fun fact about me is that l switched my major from Finance to Accounting last semester.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I joined Beta Alpha Psi during my freshman year because I was eager to step outside my comfort zone and gain practical experience. I wanted to deepen my understanding of the business world and develop professionally. Being a part of this organization has provided valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with peers who share similar aspirations.
What I look Forward To: As a social chair, I hope to develop my leadership and event-planning skills by creating engaging and inclusive activities that bring members together. I want to build confidence in myself as I take on more responsibility and lead initiatives. Additionally, I also hope to help create a strong sense of community where members can connect, collaborate and feel like they belong. Most of all, I look forward to contributing to a positive and memorable experience for everyone involved!

Get to Know Me: Hi everyone! I’m from Jamestown NY and I am currently in my junior year. My major is accounting and fun fact about me is my first language is Japanese.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I joined Beta Alpha Psi because I wanted to build more connections with people who are also pursuing accounting and gain valuable experience exploring professional environments within the field.
What I look Forward To: I hope to be the person everyone feels comfortable coming to, and have exciting social events where everyone can have fun and connect with us!

Get to Know Me: Hello everyone! My name is Jianing Chen, and I am from Guangdong, China. I am currently a sophomore majoring in Accounting. A fun fact about myself is that I will always say yes to dessert, no matter how full I am.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I joined Beta Alpha Psi to build stronger connections in the accounting/finance community, develop leadership skills, and get more exposure to real-world professional experiences.
What I look Forward To: I hope to gain leadership and communication experience, have more interaction with our members, and also get the chance to work on designing and promoting our chapter’s events.
Aleta Munsie
Get to Know Me: Hi! My name is Aleta Munsie, and I was born and raised in Portland, Jamaica. I am a sophomore in the accounting program and a fun fact about me is that I love going on long walks, especially if nature is involved.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I joined Beta Alpha Psi to be a part of a community that supports both professional and personal growth while preparing me for my future career. I wanted to be involved outside the classroom, gain exposure to the profession and connect with other students who are serious about the field.
What I look Forward To: As disclosure chair, my goal is to help keep members informed and excited about chapter activities. I want to help in making sure our chapter is being represented in a positive and organized way. I also hope to gain leadership experience, improve my communication skills and contribute to the chapter in a meaningful way.

VITA Chairs:
Evan Mauter

Get to Know Me: Hello everyone! My name is Evan Mauter, and I am in my final year of the undergraduate accounting program here at the University at Buffalo. I am from a small town called Horseheads, NY, next to some more notable places like Corning, NY. One thing to know about me is that if there is an exam coming and I’m studying late, there is a 100% chance you’ll find me at La Rosas in the commons.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I joined Beta Alpha Psi because I have some excellent friends around me who constantly push me to be the best accountant I can be. That being said, they encouraged me to join, and I have not regretted it since. The positive effects it has had on my career trajectory and the friends I’ve met within the organization have made it worth every second.
What I look Forward To: As VITA chair, I want to make the learning process as transparent as possible to newcomers. It’s not uncommon for VITA to be an accounting student’s first real-world experience within the accounting field. That being said, it can be intimidating upon first glance, as it was for me. However, once you begin the process, you’ll learn it’s nothing to be scared of, and I just want students to realize this and gain valuable experience!

Get to Know Me: Hello everyone! My name is Jason, and I am from NYC ! I am currently a junior majoring in Accounting. A fun fact about me is I like playing basketball during my free time.
Why I joined Beta Alpha Psi: I joined Beta Alpha Psi because I wanted to build relationships with people of similar interests in the accounting degree and gain networking skills.
What I look Forward To: One thing I hope to gain from my committee chair position is leadership skills and apply them to my professional journey.
