Interested in joining?
Candidates of Junior & Senior standing must meet the following requirements per semester in order to be a member. Freshmans and Sophomores are highly encouraged to meet the requirements but are not expected to for candidacy (with the exception of Grade Requirements).
- Grade Requirements
- Attend the following:
- At least 8 technical events;
- At least 3 general meetings;
- Fulfill the fundraising requirement as determined by the Executive Board; typically NFL games or Concerts
- Fulfill the community service requirement as follows:
- Participate in 4 credits of community service
- Complete 4 hours of tutoring service.
- Fulfill the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program requirements by attending training, becoming VITA preparer certified, and serving 16 hours of VITA service (taking place in SPRING 2026)
How to become a Candidate & Pre-Candidate:
- Submit your Candidate Essay, Candidate Application, & Unofficial Transcript by 11:59 PM on September 19th, 2025.
- Pay your club dues via PayPal @bapzetatheta by 11:59 PM on September 19th, 2025.
- $75 for initiated Seniors (Members)
- $125 for new Juniors & Seniors (Candidates)
- $50 for Freshmen and Sophomores (Pre- Candidates)
- Schedule your Candidate 1:1 by September 19th, 2025. Email vpcandidate.bap@gmail.com with five available times requesting a 15-minute interval during the week. The meeting will be conducted in person.
